Our story
Coming to Tasmania from UK and then East Africa, my Dad had a fascination with the uniqueness of Tasmanian speciality timbers. In the 1960's - 1990's he had a passion for collecting timbers from local sawmills on the NW Coast of Tasmania. I have inherited that passion and his store of timbers.

What makes Clearview Crafts special is the high quality of Craftsmanship and air dried special timber aged for decades. We have a range of speciality timbers, ranging from Huon Pine, Celery Top Pine, Leatherwood, Blackwood, Blackheart Sassafras, Myrtle and Walnut. This wide range of timbers provides me with an incredible diversity of woods for my laser and wood crafts.
